Ausir/Osiris
Ausir has done a lot for me, I love all the netjeru, but he’s high key my favourite, so imma shower a little appreciation on him with a BlOg oN tUmBLr
Ausir, despite being a god of death and the king of duat (underworld), is really warm and nurturing. Fatherly af, not to mention friendly, charismatic and possessing a good sense of humour.
He’s understanding when at times I lose the energy and drive to worship. He lets me get up close to him and showers me with love when I need it.
He showed me that I can draw from the bad experiences in my life and turn those bad things into beautiful gifts that I can use to help others.
He erased my fear of death.
He’s healed and rejuvenated me, just like he does for Ra every night while he journeys through duat.
Ausir likes Lil Peep’s music, and he lets me call him dad. (and he prefers it that way.)
